Responsibilities

The Human Resources area is responsible for:

  • Human resource planning / budgeting
  • Recruitment / selection
  • Personnel policy development and enforcement
  • Administrative investigations as directed
  • Job analysis and classification
  • Compensation and pay plan administration
  • Maintenance of all personnel records (including both on line and hard copy files of all personnel actions, pay and deduction records)
  • Retirement plan administration
  • Group health plan and flexible spending plan administration
  • Deferred compensation plan administration
  • Employee orientation programs
  • General training programs
  • Volunteer program
