The public is invited to attend the City of Midland’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade, held the first two weekends in December.
The Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at the Wadley Baron Duck Pond, 1001 N. "A" Street, on December 1, 2018. Festivities begin at 5:45 PM.
The Christmas Parade will be held on December 8, 2018 at 6:30 PM. The theme this year is Christmas in Boomtown. The parade route will follow A Street from Ventura Avenue near Windlands Park and conclude near Midland High School. Road closures along A Street will begin at 4:00 PM; drivers are advised to use an alternate route.
