On November 8, 2019 Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies (FO>), in coordination with the City of Midland and Keep Midland Beautiful Treekeepers, will plant 30 trees in Reyes-Mashburn-Nelms park on Cuthbert Avenue at 9:00 AM. An additional 55 trees will be planted at Beal and Hogan Parks.  The trees chosen are from the Treekeepers list of recommended trees for the Permian Basin and include Lacebark and Cedar Elms and Burr and Monterrey Oaks.  They will be installed with drip irrigation.

FO> is celebrating the 170-year anniversary of its parent company, the Freudenberg Group. In commemoration of this event, all Freudenberg Group companies are planting trees within their local communities all over the world.

Earlier this year, FO> opened a facility in Midland to support the Permian Basin market with local sales and inventory for differentiated sealing technologies and solutions for the upstream oil and gas industry. The Company offers various proprietary solutions for drilling and completions including pressure control sealing products, pipeline connectors and flanges, stuffing box packing and spring seals.

“We appreciate the opportunity to work with the City of Midland on this project,” says Jason Kollatschny, Vice President of FO> Engineered Seals and Pressure Control Products. “The trees will serve as a long-standing reminder of Freudenberg’s dedication to the environment and the communities in which we live and work.”
