Christmas Tree Lighting
The 2022 Community Tree Lighting will be held on Tuesday December 6th at 6:30 pm at Centennial Park. Bowie Fine Arts Academy Choir and The Midland High School Legend Carolers will be performing. Santa will also be in attendance for pictures.
Christmas Parade
“Anyone Can Be Santa” Lighted Christmas Parade presented by City of Midland Parks and Recreation Division will be held on December 10th beginning at 6:30 pm. The parade will be held in downtown Midland, ending at Centennial Park. This year’s theme for the parade is “Anyone Can Be Santa.”
All floats must be registered with Parks and Recreation by the deadline date of December 8th. Registration forms can be found online at https://www.midlandtexas.gov/Christmas, picked up at MLK Jr. Community Center (2300 Butternut Ln.), the Parks Office (2701 W. Elizabeth). Completed forms can be dropped off or mailed to the MLK Jr. Community Center (2300 Butternut Ln Midland Texas 79705), or emailed to Joey Jolly at jajolly@midlandtexas.gov.
