[ARCHIVED] City of Midland Surplus Equipment up for Auction

City of Midland vehicles, heavy equipment and furniture are currently on display on an online auction that will last through April 14 at noon.

Rene Bates Auctioneers is auctioning the items at www.renebates.com, where a detailed list of 70 items for auction is available with instructions for registration.

As these large items are gathered and storage space is depleted, public auctions are scheduled to sell city surplus equipment. Funds received from these sales are deposited back into the funds from which the equipment was purchased.

Items in the current auction include a 2000 Geffs BM624 chip spreader, 1986 John Deere BH/FEL skid steer loader, 1996 Ford 7740 tractor, 1995 Ford LNT8000 roll-off truck, 1985 Pierce Arrow pumper fire truck, three ambulances, four refuse trucks, three dump trucks, bucket truck, tanker truck, 28 pickup trucks, utility body pickup, flatbed pickup, van, SUV, 16 automobiles, Mule utility cart, holiday decorations, office furniture and scoreboard.
