Community members are invited to join their neighbors and local police officers for coffee and conversation from 7-9 a.m. on March 20 at the McDonald's near Andrews Highway and Midkiff Road (1111 Andrews Highway).
Midland Police Department is holding its third "Coffee with a Cop" event, which allows citizens and police to come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee. The program aims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members, one cup of coffee at a time.
