The City of Midland will host a meeting to gather public input on a new hike/bike trails master plan starting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 19 at the Midland College Carrasco Room (3600 N. Garfield).
City officials are currently working to develop the city's first Trails Master Plan that will allow more interconnectivity and mobility between neighborhoods and key destinations within the city such as schools, parks, restaurants, shopping centers, and downtown. The plan will identify key corridors for the development of safe, convenient, off-street hiking and biking facilities.
All residents are invited to attend an open house to review the proposed corridors and to give feedback, thoughts and concerns to city staff.
