Roads were reopened just before 5 p.m. Friday after a tanker spill near Highway 191 and Loop 250.
Midland Police and Fire Departments responded to reports that an 18-wheeler that tipped over at Highway 191 under the Loop 250 overpass at approximately 9:46 a.m. Friday. The driver was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The tanker was carrying condensate, which spilled when the it struck a traffic sign that pierced its tank.
The spill caused authorities to shut down the north frontage road of Highway 191 between Loop 250 and Highway 158, and both service lanes of Loop 250 between the Wadley Avenue and Highway 191 exits.
