The City of Midland's Parks and Recreation Division will host its second annual Halloweenfest on Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (2300 Butternut Lane).
This free event will provide a safe trick-or-treating experience for kids on Halloween Eve from 6-9 p.m. There will be many activities for families such as face painting, movies, jumpers, music and costume Zumba.
Local businesses, churches, and organizations are encouraged to come out and take part in this safe trick-or-treating event by setting up a table promoting their businesses or organizations and handing out candy to the children of Midland. Those who choose to participate in handing out candy are asked to bring enough for at least five hundred kids.
For more information about the event or to reserve a spot for your business or organization, please contact Joey Jolly at 432-559-1395 or the Parks and Recreation Division at 432-685-7355.
