Calling all monsters! The Midland Fire Department will hold its first "Truck or Treat" open house and Halloween carnival from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Oct. 25 at Central Fire Station (1500 West Wall St.).
Kids are invited to come trick or treat at this free event as well as play fun games and learn about fire safety. The Midland Fire Department will showcase its newest equipment, emergency vehicles and demonstrate lifesaving skills. Free refreshments will include candy, hot dogs, popcorn and drinks.
Games will include a bean bag toss, football throw, basketball, baseball toss, "feel and see," cupcake walk, limbo, bucket rides, jumper, fire hose practice, a haunted house, and the chance to take a picture with a monster and fire truck. Shows will include combat challenge, Fireman Dave, extrication demonstration, and AED demonstrations.
