[ARCHIVED] MPD investigation leads to arrest for possession of methamphetamine

A Midland man was taken into federal custody as the result of an investigation by the Midland Police narcotics unit.

MPD detectives executed a search warrant on the morning of Oct. 28 at 3904 W. Wall St. #172 and arrested suspect Vincent Camarillo. During the search, detectives found approximately 11 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated worth of $1,000 in street value. Also seized was $1,700 in cash from the residence along with a number of fake identification documents that Camarillo was using to hide his identity.

Detectives learned Camarillo was wanted on three felony warrants out of Borger, Texas. The suspect was transferred into the custody of U.S. Marshals where he will face charges in this incident.
