UPDATE: Midland police have obtained a description of the suspect vehicle wanted in connection with a homicide early Monday morning in the 500 block of South Carver.
Detectives are looking for a late 1990s or early 2000s model SUV that has been dropped. The vehicle has gray/chrome rims and is possibly a Trailblazer, Jimmy or Kia type of SUV with square headlights.
MPD is also searching for two white, heavy-set males between the ages of 40 and 50. Individuals with any information about this homicide are asked to call MPD at 432-685-7108 or Midland Crime Stoppers at 432-694-TIPS.

Midland police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one person dead.
Midland Police and Fire Departments responded at approximately 3:47 a.m. Monday to the 500 block of South Carver and found 27-year-old Humberto Joshua Ramos lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Ramos was transported to Midland Memorial where he later died during surgery.
An investigation revealed that the shooting is possibly connected to a drug-related dispute. Detectives are interviewing witnesses to gather more information on possible suspects.
Ramos’ body has been sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy and next of kin has been notified.
