USA Fit Midland is now accepting registrations for 2015.
USA Fit Midland has kicked off its second season of running with the start of registration for 2015. USA Fit Midland is a group of training partners and friends preparing together for the Run a K for the United Way on April 11, 2015. Individuals who have never run a step before are especially encouraged to join to conquer mental and physical barriers they never thought possible.
Over the course of 12 weeks, USA Fit coaches help participants achieve personal bests in a non-intimidating, fun and safe environment. Members start small and work with coaches to build their mileage, fitness, and confidence until they reach their goal. Members follow their training schedules independently during the week, and convene on Saturday for their coached, long, group runs and educational seminars. No matter what your condition or pace, others will be available to train with you.
Registration is available online at www.usafitmidland.com; fees are $60 for returning members as well as City, County and MISD employees and $70 for all other participants.
An organizational meeting, in-person registration, and first training session will take place on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. at Beal Park Ranch House (5200 W. Wall St.). Registration will close on January 17, 2015.
