Douglas Avenue & D Street Utility Improvement Project:
The contractor working for the City of Midland will continue installing water and sewer lines at the street and alley intersections between Storey Avenue and Cuthbert Avenue.

FY 2015 Mill/Overlay Project:
The contractor working for the City of Midland will continue the Mill/Overlay Project the week of June 8, 2015 at Florida Avenue between Garfield Street and Big Spring Street. During the project, lane closures will be used at Florida Avenue between Garfield Street and Big Spring Street.

The contractor working for the City of Midland will continue the Mill/Overlay Project the week of June 8, 2015 at Midland Drive between Loop 250 and Crestgate Avenue and Briarwood Avenue between Midland Drive and Northcrest Drive. During the project, lane closures will be used at Midland Drive from Loop 250 to Crestgate Avenue and Briarwood Avenue form Midland Drive to Northcrest Drive.

The contractor working for the City of Midland will continue the Mill/Overlay Project the week of June 8, 2015 at Midkiff Road between Loop 250 and Mockingbird Lane. During the project, lane closures will be used at Midkiff Road from Loop 250 to Mockingbird Lane.

Utility Extension Program:
The contractor working for the City of Midland on the 2014 Utility Extension Program will be performing work in the area of west Rhode Island Avenue, west New Jersey Avenue, and south L Street. During construction, several intersections and sections of streets may be reduced to one lane or closed at the following locations: 1) W. Rhode Island Ave. from Cotton Flat Road to S. ‘L’ St.; 2) W. New Jersey Ave. from W. Rhode Island Ave. to S. ‘L’ St.; and S. ‘L’ St. from W.
Florida Ave. to W. Carter Ave.

Traffic Signal Upgrades – Various Locations:
City and contractor crews are upgrading traffic signal displays at various locations citywide. For brief periods throughout the day, some signals may be out of service. Motorists are reminded that dark or flashing red signals have the same meaning as stop signs under state law.

West Loop 250 & Interstate 20 Service Roads:
TxDOT has a project underway to install traffic signals on West Loop 250 on the service roads of Interstate 20. During this project, both service roads of Interstate 20 will be four-way stops until the signals are in operation.

Also, multiple oversize load impacts have caused damage to the Loop 250 overpasses at this interchange in recent months, and lane restrictions are in place while repairs are pending.
