[ARCHIVED] “Peeping Tom” arrested in Midland, facing multiple charges

A Midland man has been arrested and charged following a months-long investigation into reports of a “peeping Tom” in a Midland neighborhood.

Alvaro Carrasco-Granado, 37, turned himself into the Midland Police Department Friday afternoon and is facing six counts of indecent exposure and six counts of criminal trespass.

The investigation revealed that since October, Carrasco-Granado had been entering the backyards of residences in the 4400 block of Comanche Drive and peeking into windows while simultaneously performing lewd acts. Some of these incidents were captured on home surveillance cameras. Surveillance photos were released on social media and MPD received several tips in regards to the case. Detectives were able to locate Carrasco-Granado and he confessed upon being questioned.

Carrasco-Granado is currently in custody at the Midland County Detention Center and more charges are pending. His bond is set at $6,000 and the investigation continues.
