[ARCHIVED] TreeKeepers to host "After the Storm: Tree Care 911"

Citizens whose trees suffered fallen limbs due to the recent ice storm are welcome to attend a public meeting this week to set their trees on the road to recovery.

Residents are encouraged to join Keep Midland Beautiful and Midland TreeKeepers for “After the Storm: Tree Care 911” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29 at the Midland County Centennial Branch Library (2503 W. Loop 250 N.). A panel of local and regional arborists, members of Midland TreeKeepers, and City of Midland staff will provide information and answer questions about common storm damage issues and establishing a plan of care for trees that survived the icy conditions.

Citizens are encouraged to submit questions via email at kmb@keepmidlandbeautiful.org or through the Keep Midland Beautiful or Midland TreeKeepers Facebook page prior to the seminar.

Questions will be collected and grouped to see what the most pressing needs from the community are with regard to the recent storm damage to their trees.

For more information, contact Keep Midland Beautiful at 432-688-7745 or 432-693-6854.
