The City of Midland Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for its annual lighted Christmas parade with a photo contest featuring you and your family!
Citizens of Midland are encouraged to turn in their favorite wintertime “family photo” to the 2013 Winter Wonderland Family Photo Contest for a chance to win a free one-time rental of a parks facility or the big movie screen. Submissions will be accepted now through 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, and the winner with the most votes in the contest photo gallery will be announced on the City’s Facebook page on Friday, Dec. 6.
This year’s Christmas parade, which has the theme of “Winter Wonderland in Midland,” will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 in downtown Midland.
