The City of Midland will be closed for Independence Day on Friday, June 3.
In observance of this holiday, City of Midland offices will be closed on Friday.
There will be no trash pickup on Friday except for residential roll out cart customers, whose collection schedule will remain unchanged. Pickup is taking place one day early for dumpsters before Friday. The Citizens Collection Station (4100 Smith Rd.) will be open on Friday, July 3, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and closed on Saturday, July 4. The landfill will also be open on Friday, July 3 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and closed on Saturday, July 4.
Emergency personnel will work normal shifts to provide services to the community.
City offices will re-open on Monday, July 6.
