The Midland Police Department is reaching out to the public for tips regarding a double homicide that occurred earlier in July.
On July 17, Midland Police and Fire Departments responded to reports of a disturbance and fire at approximately 2:30 a.m. at a small structure located next to a mobile home in the 6300 block of Kanawha. Two bodies were found inside the burning structure with gunshot wounds.
No suspects have been identified. Any individuals who believe they have information about this homicide are asked to call MPD at 432-685-7108 or Midland Crime Stoppers at 432-694-TIPS. The investigation continues.
