The City of Midland is proposing to add additional funding to its Owner Occupied Reconstruction Program and Homebuyer Assistance Program.
The amendments to the City's Community Development program will be voted on by City Council at its regularly scheduled meeting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12 at City Hall (300 N. Loraine). The amendments would add $50,000 to the Owner Occupied Reconstruction Program and $32,615 to the Homebuyer Assistance Program. The funding is coming from remaining balances in completed projects and from unobligated Community Development Block Grant revenue credits and contingency accounts.
Documents concerning the amendments are available for review at the City Secretary's office at City Hall and the Midland County Public Library Downtown Branch (301 W. Missouri) through April 5.
