[ARCHIVED] Burglaries of Motor Vehicles

The Midland Police Department is investigating eight cases of burglary of a motor vehicle that happened over the weekend and is asking for the public to take precautions to make sure it doesn't happen to them.

In all eight cases, the vehicles were left running, unattended, and unlocked. When they returned to where the vehicle had been parked, it was gone. Police are asking that citizens do not leave their car running unattended, remember to lock their vehicle, and hide valuables, no matter where their vehicle is parked.

If you have been a victim of burglary of a motor vehicle, please call the Midland Police Department at 685-7108 to make a report.
