[ARCHIVED] Midland Fire Department searching for stolen squad vehicle

Station 3

The Midland Fire Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a stolen F-350 squad truck that was stolen from outside Station 6 on Monday evening.

Unit No. 6413, which bears a "6" and the word "Squad" on its side, contains life-saving equipment such as Jaws of Life. Squad trucks were introduced to MFD's fleet in 2012 to respond to emergency medical situations, public service calls, natural gas leaks and even vehicle excavations in order to increase fire engine reliability.

Citizens are urged to call the Midland Police Department at 432-685-7110 if they have any information regarding the whereabouts of this truck.
