[ARCHIVED] USA Fit to host half marathon training program

USA Fit Midland and the City of Midland's Parks and Recreation Division are teaming up to host a 15-week training program to help runners prepare for the Dallas Half Marathon on Dec. 11.

The training program will help participants reach their personal bests before the half marathon in a group environment through weekly runs on Saturdays, informational seminars and workout plans.

Orientation is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 24 and the first run will take place Saturday, Aug. 27. Individuals can register through Sept. 9 by visiting www.usafitmidland.com or by visiting the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (2300 Butternut Ln.).

Registration is $90 for new USA Fit members and $80 for returning members. For more information, please email info@usafitmidland.com or call 432-685-7381.
