[ARCHIVED] MPD searching for robbery suspect

Robbery Suspect

The Midland Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a robbery suspect.

The suspect visited Members Financial Federal Credit Union (3100 N. Big Spring St.) at 2:34 p.m. today and handed the bank teller a note demanding money. The suspect fled with a large amount of money and is described as a 5-foot-9 balding white male in his 30s with a medium build.

The suspect is believed to drive an older model, navy blue or dark gray Nissan Pathfinder. The paint on the vehicle is fading or peeling, and the license plate number is unknown at this time.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to call MPD at 432-685-7108 or Midland Crime Stoppers at 432-694-TIPS. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has been notified and is in charge of the investigation of this case.
