[ARCHIVED] MPD searching for female suspect in connection to Wells Fargo robbery

The Midland Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a robbery suspect.

Midland police responded to a call at approximately 1:36 p.m. Friday from the Wells Fargo located at 4307 N. Midland Drive in reference to a female suspect who handed a bank teller a note demanding money. The suspect did not use a weapon n the robbery and fled with an undisclosed amount of money. She is described as a white female in her 20s with a thin build with blond hair. At the time of the robbery, she was wearing a purple hat, purple, long-sleeved shirt and gray, short-sleeved sweater with blue jeans.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to call MPD at 432-685-7108 or Midland Crime Stoppers at 432-694-TIPS. Midland police are currently canvassing the area for any leads.
