[ARCHIVED] MPD searching for aggravated robbery suspect

The Midland Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an aggravated robbery suspect.

On Wednesday afternoon around 3:38 p.m., a man entered Cavender’s Boot City located at 2605 W. Loop 250 N. The man walked around the store picking up merchandise before approaching the cash register, acting aggressively towards employees and pointing a gun at employees. The suspect left the store with the merchandise and entered a maroon Nissan Juke. The vehicle was last seen near the intersection of Wadley Avenue and Garfield Street.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s and is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a white cap, white long-sleeved Aeropostale shirt with the number 87 on the front and blue jeans.
