The Midland Police Department has apprehended three individuals for an aggravated robbery that occurred in a vehicle parked at a Midland grocery store on Feb. 13.
Officers arrested 21-year-old Brooke Lee, 22-year-old Caleb Keys and 24-year-old Derrick Landers, on aggravated robbery charges over the past week and a half with assistance from the U.S. Marshals and Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.
On the day of the robbery, Lee asked the victim of the robbery to meet with her around 10:21 a.m. at the HEB located at 3325 W. Wadley Ave. The victim joined Lee in her Ford Expedition, which was also occupied by Keys and Landers. Both of the male suspects held the victim at gunpoint and demanded her belongings. The victim said she did not have anything, returned to her vehicle and called 911.
Midland police located and arrested Lee and Keys without incident on Feb. 14 and 15, respectively. Landers was arrested without incident on Feb. 21 with the help of the U.S. Marshals Service and the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.
