Fiscal Year 2017 Crack Seal Project
The Fiscal Year 2017 Crack Seal Project will continue the
week of March 13th at various locations around the western side of
Midland. During the project, traffic will be channeled around the crack seal
operation.
Drainage Improvements
City crews will continue making drainage improvements on
Canadian Avenue at Spence Drive the week of March 13th. During the
project Canadian Ave. will be closed at the intersection of Spence Dr. Traffic
will be detoured through adjacent streets throughout the project.
City crews will continue making drainage improvements on
Cuthbert Avenue at Marienfeld Street the week of March 13th. During
the project Cuthbert Ave. will be closed at the intersection of Marienfeld St.
Traffic will be detoured through adjacent streets throughout the project.
City crews will begin making drainage improvements on Lamesa
Rd. at Gist Avenue the week of March 13th. During the project Gist
Ave. will be closed at the intersection of Lamesa. Traffic will be detoured
through adjacent streets throughout the project. Lamesa north and south bound
traffic will be maintained throughout the project but lane closures will be
utilized. Drivers are asked to use caution in the area.
COMPASS Project on Rhode Island
Avenue and South N Street:
The contractor is constructing improvements on Rhode Island
Avenue from South Garfield Street to South L Street and on South N Street from
West New Jersey Avenue to West Carter Avenue. In this area, the contractor is
grading, constructing curb, and paving.
Access to businesses may be interrupted during the day.
Beal Parkway Paving Project:
The
contractor is working within the newly proposed alignment of Beal Parkway from
Audie Court to Blue Haven and Leisure Drive to Thomason Drive. Contractor
may set up work day lane closures to be able to adjust manhole covers.
Paving operations are complete and paving markings should be installed soon.
Briarwood Avenue Paving Project:
The contractor is currently working along Briarwood Avenue
from Avalon Drive to Holiday Hill Road. Traffic is driving in the outer lanes. All
affected businesses have access to Briarwood Avenue.
Utility Extension Program
on Loop 250 Frontage Road:
The
contractor will perform construction along the eastbound Loop 250 frontage road
between Tremont Avenue and Henry Koontz Boulevard. There may be temporary lane,
road, and intersection closures during construction.
