City crews complete
drainage improvements on Cuthbert Avenue at Marienfeld Street the week of June
5th. Cuthbert Ave. will be open, but construction work will continue
in the area. Drivers are asked to exercise caution while in the area.

Improvements
City crews will begin to make drainage improvements to
Highland Boulevard in the Grassland Estates Subdivision the week of June 5th.
During the project Highland Blvd will be closed at the Callaway Dr.
intersection. Traffic will be detoured through adjacent streets throughout the
project.
FY
2017 Mill and Inlay Project
Contractors will begin the FY 2017 Mill and Inlay
project the week of June 5th. Contractors will begin installing ADA
compliant curb ramps in the intersections of Cuthbert Avenue between A Street
and Lamesa Road. Drivers are asked to exercise caution while driving through
construction activities in the area.
COMPASS
Project on Rhode Island Avenue and South N Street:
The contractor is completing construction on Rhode Island Avenue from South Garfield
Street to South L Street and on South N Street from West New Jersey Avenue to
West Carter Avenue. The Contractor is constructing
sidewalk and ramps. Access to
businesses may be interrupted during the day.
COMPASS
Project on Montgomery from Rankin Highway to Moran Street:
The contractor is widening Montgomery from Rankin Highway to
Moran Street. The Contractor is nearing
completion of the work and traffic may encounter short term lane closures at
various locations.
Utility Extension Program on South
Lamesa at Latta Street:
Drivers
should expect temporary lane closures during this construction.
