FY 2017 Hot In-Place Recycling Project

Contractors will continue the FY 2017 Hot In-Place Recycle project the week of June 26th. Contractors will be recycling the asphalt in the Northgate Subdivision south of Briarwood Avenue between Holiday Hill Road and Amistad Drive. During the project traffic will be detoured through adjacent streets while paving operations are taking place. Curb side parking will also be prohibited on those streets during working hours. Residents in the area are asked to refrain from watering their lawns the day prior to and the day of paving on their streets.

 

FY 2017 Mill and Inlay Project

Contractors will continue the FY 2017 Mill and Inlay project the week of June 26th. Contractors will be installing ADA compliant curb ramps in the intersections of Cuthbert Avenue between A Street and Lamesa Road. Drivers are asked to exercise caution while driving through construction activities in the area.


FY 2017 Mastic Seal Project

The Fiscal Year 2017 Mastic Seal Project will begin the week of June 26th at various locations throughout Midland. During the project, residential and minor collector streets being treated will be temporarily closed while the surface cures. Residents in these areas are requested to be careful that runoff from water sprinklers does not run into the streets to be treated. Curbside parking will also be prohibited on the streets to be treated. Please observe all traffic controls, parking restrictions, and flagmen; and exercise caution while in the vicinity of all construction activities.

 

Drainage Improvements

City crews will begin to make drainage improvements at the intersection of Fairgrounds Road and Indiana Avenue the week of June 26th. During the project Indiana Avenue will be closed. Traffic will be detoured through adjacent streets throughout the project.
