The City of Midland will be closed for Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4.
In observance of this holiday, City of Midland offices will be closed on Tuesday.
There will be no trash pickup on Tuesday except for residential roll out cart customers, whose collection schedule will remain unchanged. The Citizens Collection Station located at 4100 Smith Road and the City of Midland Landfill will be closed Tuesday. Solid Waste collection will continue Wednesday with extended hours through the week to catch up on trash collection.
Emergency personnel will work normal shifts to provide services to the community.
City offices will re-open on Wednesday, July 5.
