Five individuals were declared deceased following an accident involving two vehicles late Sunday evening.
Odessa resident Kelly Brooks, 27, was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane of Highway 191 in a brown Nissan Maxima with her two children. The Nissan collided head on with a white Toyota Tundra carrying Midland residents Nguon Tang, 40, and Augustin Esquivel, 41.
All five occupants were pronounced deceased on scene. Next of kin have been notified and the investigation continues.
