When Midland voters approved $100 million in bond funding on November 7, City leaders got to work.
With utility and pavement projects already identified in the 5-Year Street Improvement Plan, Council acted quickly to set design and construction activities in motion.
Now, the City has published a tool to help citizens keep up with the progress. At www.midlandtexas.gov/roadbond, residents may sign up to receive news alerts, submit FAQs, and explore an interactive map of improvements. “We are committed to providing clear and accessible information about road work,” said Elana Ladd, Communications Officer. “The webpage is the best way to stay informed,” added Ladd.
To track progress on non-Bond-funded road work, residents may log on to www.midlandtexas.gov/544/Project-Updates to view both currently active and recently completed engineering projects.
