Spay/Neuter Voucher Requirements
Animal Services will provide pet owners that meet the requirements, with a voucher worth $70.00 to have their pet surgically altered to prevent the dog or cat from becoming pregnant.
- The owner of pet(s) must live within the City of Midland and bring proof, in the form of a utility bill, phone bill, or cable bill. DRIVER’S LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS PROOF.
- The owner must provide vaccination records showing the date a Licensed veterinarian has given the pet its current preventative vaccinations as recommended.
- The owner must bring in the pet(s) to Animal Services wearing a current pet license and proof of the date issued.
- Vouchers are issued Monday through Friday only during regular business hours. 1200 N Fairgrounds Rd, Midland
Mon, Tues, Thursday, Fri 10A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
Wednesday 10 A.M to 5:45 P.M.
The vouchers are good for 14 days from the date of issuance. Please make appointments and any necessary pre-exams with your veterinarian before getting your voucher. An extension of the time limit can only be made by the Director of Animal Services and will not be made without a veterinarians’ explanation. The City of Midland will not reimburse citizens for surgeries done prior to obtaining a voucher.
