The Federal Fair Housing Act Prohibits Discrimination in housing because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, handicap or familial status. This discrimination may take the form of but is not limited to: refusal to negotiate for housing, make housing unavailable, deny a dwelling or set different terms, conditions or privileges for sale or rental of a dwelling. .If you feel your rights have been violated, you may call HUD at their toll-free hotline: 1-800-669-9777 (TDD, 1-800-669-9777) or write to HUD's Fair Housing Office, P.O. Box 2905, Fort Worth, TX 76113-2905. You may also get more information, file a complaint or print a complaint form online at www.hud.gov/hdiscrim.html.
