The Transportation Division responds to many types of emergency situations, including all types of emergency street repair needs and instances where flooding has occurred.  To report an emergency situation in our streets, right of way, or drainage channels, please contact 685-7293 during regular office hours or 685-7340 for 24-hours service.

The Transportation Division is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of city streets, alleys, curbs, gutters, storm sewers, and drainage channels.  The division also constructs double-penetration paved streets, performs street sweeping and removes debris and litter from streets and public right of way.  They also respond to severe storms and other weather related emergencies, including flooding.  They also assist Keep Midland Beautiful in "Clean Midland", our annual city-wide cleanup project.
