Requirements for Snow Cone and Ice Cream Mobile Units

1. Police Peddler Permit.
2. Health Permit $40.00 fee per year.
3. Ice from an approved source.
4. Ice kept in a clean container with provision to drain water from ice and dispose of properly.  Ice shall be protected at all times from potential contamination.
5. Keep all equipment clean in mobile unit.
6. Operators must wear clean clothes and practice good personal hygiene.   NO smoking or use of tobacco allowed.
7. Clean hands before handling food.
8. Ice scoop provided for handling Ice and properly stored.
9. Ice Cream from an approved source and prepackaged.
10. Ice Cream store in freezer unit at 0°, or colder.
11. A Mobile Vendor shall  not go into or on any Public Park for purposes of selling, or offering for sale any food items unless:  The Vendor is on park property rented from the City by Vendor for that purpose, or the Vendor has obtained written permission from the Director of Parks and Recreation.
12. Vendors shall not sell in areas of school, or school yeards during time school is in session.  Remain 300 feet distance.
13. Vendor shall not sell before the hourse of 9AM and after the hours of 9PM.
14. No Vendor shall use any loud noise maker except an unamplified bell to attract attention to the merchandise he proposes to sell.
15. Trash receptacle approved by Health Department.

NOTE**   Vendor can only conduct business from April 1 to September 30.
