
Interim Police Chief Price Robinson has been with the Midland Police Department for over 24 years. He was appointed Interim Chief on May 1, 2007. During his time with the MPD, Chief Robinson has served in the ranks of Patrol Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Deputy Chief. In 2003, Deputy Chief Robinson was the accreditation manager for the department’s third re-accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Law Enforcement and Police Science in 1980. In 1993, he obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. He is a graduate of the 155th session of the FBI National Academy and a graduate of the 25th session of the Senior Management Institute for Police sponsored by the Police Executive Research Forum. Additionally, he is a member of various professional organizations to include the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Texas Police Chiefs Association.
