The City of Midland provides citizens of Midland government access programming on Suddenlink channel 2 or Grande channel 6. Award winning programming is produced by the City of Midland Public Information Office.



City TV Receives Programming Awards
On Thursday, October 27th in Austin, Texas the City of Midland government access station, City TV, earned three programming awards at the 2011 Texas Association for Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (TATOA) Conference.

City TV received 1st place for Overall Excellence in Programming for cities with operating budgets under $100,000, 2nd place for Best Use of Web, and 3rd place for Partnership Production.

The TATOA Government Programming Awards are annual awards that recognize excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia and electronic programming produced by local government agencies in Texas.

City TV programming may be seen on Grande Channel 6 or Suddenlink Channel 2 and online at www.youtube.com/cityofmidland
