OUR PURPOSE
To govern goods and services expenditures
by the City of Midland
for authorized City business. To serve as the central buying authority
ensuring
delivery of goods and services when needed, at the best quality, the right quantity, and
the best possible price.
ORGANIZATION
Established by policy, the Purchasing Division is
headed by the Purchasing Agent who reports to the Director of Facilities and Fleet
Management, who in turn, reports to the City Manager.

VENDOR QUESTIONNAIRE
In order for a business to sell to the City, the
enterprise must complete a questionnaire. This form can be obtained HERE, at the City
Purchasing office located in room 220, City Hall, 300 N. Loraine, or it can be mailed at your request.

If you would like to visit the Purchasing Division,
please call or come to the office. We encourage appointments when possible. We
will make every effort to visit with every caller. Upon your arrival, check in the
with receptionist. She will make sure your wait is no longer than absolutely
necessary. The Purchasing Agent or a staff member will meet with you dependent upon
their schedule.
