New utility services within the City of Midland require an application, with valid identification, be completed and a deposit paid for connection of the utility service. This deposit is refundable after the account is closed and there is no outstanding balance. The name on the application needs to match the vaild identification required. You must use your name, not a spouse, relative, or friends name on this application.
A turn-on or transfer fee of $10.00 will be included in your first water bill if this is a transfer of service request within the City.
The deposit and application fee shall be included in the first water bill after the account is setup. You have 30 days from the date service is activated to visit Customer Service with valid identification and sign the application card to continue service.
