Courtney Sharp
City Manager

On October 1, 2008, Courtney Sharp began work as the city’s chief executive, leading a workforce of over 900 employees and an annual budget of $167 million.
Courtney earned his Bachelor of Political Science with an emphasis on Public Administration from West Texas A & M University. He is also a graduate of the Texas Tech Certified Public Manager’s Program.

Tommy Hudson
Deputy City Manager

Tommy Hudson serves the City as the Deputy City Manager. Prior to his appointment he served as Interim City Manager and Assistant City Manager. He oversees the departments of Administrative Services, Facilities & Fleet Services, Finance, Police, and CISD.
Tommy earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Angelo State University, and a Master of Public Administration from Troy State University. He also graduated from Midland High School in 1985.

Marcus Johnston
Assistant City Manager

Marcus Johnston was promoted to Assistant City Manager in May 2001 after serving as Director of Development Services.
As Assistant City Manager, Marcus oversees the Airport, Development Services, Community Services, Utilities, and Fire.
Marcus holds a Master of Public Administration from Texas Tech University and Bachelor of Business Administration from U.T.P.B.
