RECOVERED PROPERTY

The Midland Police Department is inviting the public to claim stolen property at a one-day evidence viewing.

In an effort to get the stolen property back to the rightful owners, the MPD will display the items at the old police department located at the intersection of Ft. Worth and Front Streets on Thursday, September 28, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

A majority of the property was stolen from storage units.  The property consists saws, televisions, computers, tools, golf clubs, VCRs, DVD players, swords, boxing bags, air compressors, and a variety of other items. Victims that have reported items stolen must bring the case number issued by the police department. If you have had items stolen, but failed to report it to the police department, you must bring valid documentation showing ownership, such as a serial number. This is not a sale.

***MEDIA – your help in getting the word out about the event PRIOR to the date is very much appreciated!**
