DOWNTOWN MASTER PLAN

Residents, business owners, and property owners expressed their opinions and shared their ideas during two August public meetings.  The public is now invited to attend the follow-up to those meetings as consultants present the various development scenarios that are the result of the feedback. 

On Thursday, September 28, 2006, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Midland Chamber of Commerce Board Room, 109 N. Main Street, the public is invited to hear the consultant’s suggestions and concepts for downtown Midland. 

The Leland Group, HNTB, and the Vandergriff Group will present a number of ideas that could help shape the future of Midland. 

The Downtown Master Plan will serve as a guide to the redevelopment of downtown including the use of outdoor space for public dining/cafes, boutiques, retail, entertainment, etc. 

The Downtown Master Plan should be completed in November 2006.
