MISSING PERSON
Midland Police continue to search for a missing Midland woman more than one month after she was last seen. 

31-year-old Becky Jane Williams (5-22-75) was last seen on October 1, 2006, walking eastbound on Wall Street between A Street and Garfield.  Williams had been staying at various motels in Midland.

She was reported missing to Midland Police on October 2, 2006.  Williams was last seen wearing a black hat with flames, a red Tommy Hilfiger zipper shirt, blue jeans, and gray & black tennis shoes.

BURGLARS CAUGHT RED HANDED
Midland Police were called to the scene of a Burglary in progress at 900 Harvard at approximately 11:30 a.m. on November 6, 2006.  The call was made by a woman who had returned to her residence for lunch when she saw a masked man in her garage. 

When officers arrived, they set up a perimeter around the house.  Detectives stopped two individuals who reported they were jogging in the area.  The two pointed out a vehicle they said belonged to them.  Inside the vehicle, detectives found stolen property.  Also recovered were masks and two loaded pistols in a nearby alleyway. 

21-year-old Johnathon Rendon and a 15-year-old male face the charge of Burglary of a Habitation.  Other charges are pending.  The two are believed to be responsible for at least three more Burglaries in the area during the last two weeks.

Police remind citizens the importance of securing your residence, doors, windows, as well as garage doors.
