MANSLAUGHTER
Midland Police have arrested a man and charged him with Manslaughter in connection with a fatality traffic accident that occurred on January 20, 2007.

29-year-old Dan Frank Mull (7-25-77) was arrested this morning.  On January 20th at approximately 8:45 a.m., Mull was driving a grey mustang northbound in the 900 block of Midland Drive when he lost control striking a utility pole on the passenger side of the vehicle.  A female passenger in the car, 29-year-old Lisa Rupe died at the scene.  Mull was treated for minor injuries.

The charge follows further investigation indicating Mull was driving recklessly on the morning of January 20th. 

The case will be filed with the District Attorney’s Office.

BURGLARS ARRESTED
Midland Police have arrested four men in connection with multiple business Burglaries that occurred both in the City and County.

18-year-old Michael Coppage (5-24-88), 19-year-old Randy Gonzales (12-21-87), 18-year-old Chris Chambers (4-18-88), and 20-year-old Anthony Logan (5-14-86) face charges of Burglary of a Building.

Their arrests clear six City of Midland cases and 12 Midland County cases.  The crimes date back to July of last year with the majority occurring December 2006 – February 2007.  Total loss of property in the city cases total $21,717 and $32,556 for the county cases.
