ADULT FLU SHOTS
The Midland Health Department will host a flu vaccination clinic for senior citizens and those with chronic medical conditions.

Midland Health Department
The Midland Health Department will observe CDC’s (Centers for Disease Control) recommendation for administering vaccine to high priority groups which includes:
- Adults aged 50 or older
- Persons aged 19-49 with one of the following chronic medical conditions
- Pulmonary (emphysema, asthma)
- Cardiovascular
- Metabolic (diabetes)
- Renal dysfunction
- Hemoglobinopathy
- Immunosuppression, including HIV infection
- Conditions that compromise respiratory function or increase the risk of aspiration
- Conditions that increase the risk of influenza complications
- Residents of long term care facilities
- Pregnant women past the 1st trimester
The cost of the flu vaccine is $15.00; however, a Medicare Card will be accepted in lieu of payment.
* Children’s Flu vaccine (ages 6mos. -18yrs) will be available at a later date.
