If you have been the victim of a residential burglary in the past six months, detectives with the Midland Police Department may have what you are looking for.

Just last week, Midland Police arrested two men in connection with over 20 residential burglaries.  46-year-old Jose Ernesto Flores, Jr. (2-22-61) and 44-year-old Robert Earl Berry (11-9-63) were arrested on January 14 & 15, 2008.  More arrests are still pending with the case.

Numerous stolen items were recovered as a result of the arrests and investigation.  Detectives have returned items to known victims however still have property that has not been identified as belonging to anyone.

Police are asking that anyone who was a victim of a residential burglary from August 2007 – January 2008, and filed a police report documenting the incident, to contact the police department.  If a victim has property that is still missing, police will allow the victim to view the found property.  Recovered items include jewelry, firearms, currency, DVDs, gaming consoles, televisions, and other electronics.
