TRAFFIC ALERT
Midland motorists should use extra caution when traveling on the Loop 250 westbound service road between Midland Drive and Tremont Avenue.

Beginning April 7, 2008, contractors will be installing a storm water drainage culvert under the frontage road.  This work will require traffic on the service road to be narrowed to one lane in the vicinity of Northbrook Lane and Amistad Drive.  No Loop exit or entry ramps will be closed during the construction.

Traffic control devices will be installed to help direct motorists.  If the work is not slowed down by weather conditions, the project will take approximately two weeks.

The culvert will be part of a drainage system that will allow stormwater detention basins located at Briarwood and Oriole Drive to drain without being pumped dry.
