GROW MIDLAND GREEN

Don’t have a green thumb?  Think again.  It may be the types of plants, flowers, or trees you are attempting to nurture.  Our West Texas climate is unique and there are many types of vegetation that work better in Midland than other places in the state or nation.

Learn more about landscaping and trees at the Grow Midland Green Workshop on Saturday, April 12th.  The event will be held at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  There is a $10 registration fee and lunch will be provided.

Topics will include placement and selection of landscape and trees, to spray or not to spray, Midland and oak wilt, and proper tree care.  Some of Texas’ leading professional will be on hand to answer your questions.
